Colli Euganei DOC Merlot “Carromatto”
Smooth and intense, this Merlot is as intense as a Merlot Riserva and as fruity as a "young" Merlot. It is perfect for those who like full bodied wines that still remind the taste of the grapes, more than spicy notes as the wines aged in oak.
The name is dedicated to the Carraresi, lords of Padua during 14th century.
The family of Carraresi has its origin in our town (Carrara San Giorgio, now called Due Carrare).
