In november, tasting journey through Friularo wine

We are in november, in the middle of autumn season. The warm colours of the leaves vanish in the evening fog. It is cold in the morning, but the midday sun still remembers to summer.

The Friularo grape harvest is takes place during this time of the year: probably it is the latest grape harvest in Italy. And it is now that we begin cooking "autumn food", the perfect pairing for Friularo red wine, such as cotechini, roasted meat, aged cheese like for instance "formaggio ubriaco", that is maturated in grape pomaces for some months.

Moreover, with this grape we can obtain also sparkling wines such as our Bagnoli DOC Spumante Rosato Extra Dry Summertime.

A journey to discover an ancient grape variety, beloved by Venetian sailors since some centuries ago.

If you are curious about it, we invite you in our winery for a dedicated wine tasting. During all the month of november we are suggesting the wine tasting "Tasting journey through Friularo wine". You'll be able to taste 5 wines made with Friularo grapes with some traditional food pairings.

How do I partecipate to this tasting?

The wine tasting is only upon request: we can arrange day and time together from Monday to Saturday from 9 to 12 AM or from 2 to 6 PM. It lasts about 1 hour - 1 hour 15 min.
